I'm still here and all is well!

I have been advised a friend or two that just because I don't have any pictures to post, doesn't mean I can't keep everyone updated on my status.  Actually I forgot that I didn't have to have a picture to make a post!

So I got back to Baghdad just before Christmas.  Christmas alone was crummy but I was able to call family and have the phone passed around to everyone.  New Years here reminded me of Bosnia with all the celebratory gun fire into the air by locals.  Uhh, what goes UP must come DOWN!  Needless to say most of us stayed in our rooms and listened to it until finally falling asleep.

So, all is well here in sunny Baghdad.  Counting the days until I can come home again. Speaking of home, Beth and I have officially started working on the house renovation project and have completely gutted it.  The addition starts soon and I can't wait to get home and get to work on it.  I will be sure to add pictures of our progress to this blog in lieu of Baghdad pictures.
